Her journey includes roles such as veterinary receptionist, technician, technician manager, and patient care manager, highlighting her adaptable skill set that caters to the varied demands of the veterinary field. Michelle’s expertise spans mixed large animal, small animal, specialty, and emergency practices.
A native Floridian, Michelle has lived in Gainesville since 2018. She cherishes spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren, cherishing family traditions that she continues to share with them. In her free time, Michelle enjoys cooking, crafting, and traveling, always eager to embrace new experiences and adventures.
Jailen
Veterinary Technician
Jailen is a compassionate veterinary professional with over nine years of experience in veterinary medicine. She began her career journey by volunteering while pursuing her certification as a veterinary technician assistant, then later transiting into the role of veterinary technician. Originally from sunny Florida, Jailen is dedicated to ensuring that pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved during their visits. Her warm and nurturing approach not only supports the health of her furry patients but also creates a trusting environment for their owners. Passionate about education, she takes great joy in empowering pet owners with the knowledge they need to care for their beloved companions.
Outside of the clinic, Jailen treasures the time spent with her family, creating beautiful memories that fill her with joy. She is also actively involved in her church, strengthening her community connections. At home, she shares her life with a playful, nearly 4-year-old Labrador Retriever mix named Reba, whose spirited antics always keep her smiling. With a perfect blend of expertise and genuine warmth, Jailen is not just a veterinary technician; she is a true advocate for the pets and families she serves, making a positive impact in their lives every day.
Ashlin
Veterinary Receptionist
Ashlin, a compassionate veterinary professional with over 10 years of experience, began her career as a kennel technician before advancing to receptionist and technician roles. As the first person you’ll typically speak with at our clinic, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a calming presence, ensuring that both pets and their owners feel right at home. Her genuine love for animals and unwavering dedication shine through in everything she does.
Originally from Idaho, Ashlin and her family made the move to Florida in July 2025, trading the majestic mountains for beautiful beaches. While she cherishes her mountain roots, she has quickly embraced the warmth and adventures that Florida has to offer. When she’s not at the clinic, Ashlin enjoys exploring the stunning beaches with her husband and their two children, treasuring the simple moments spent together as they create joyful memories in this exciting new chapter of their lives.
Cara
Certified Veterinary Technician
Cara has been a certified veterinary technician since 2006, making a big career switch from journalism, where she worked as a copy editor. Inspired by her parents’ dedication to wildlife rehabilitation, she decided to follow her lifelong passion for animals by enrolling in school to earn her CVT. Since then, she has gained a wealth of experience in various areas, including orthopedics, emergency care, and small animal general practice. She has a special love for working with reptiles, enjoying the unique challenges and quirks they bring.
Originally from Massachusetts, Cara moved to Florida in 2008 and quickly embraced her new home. She’s become a fan of the Gators and SEC football, which has turned into her favorite fall pastime. In her downtime, she enjoys reading, exploring new places through travel, and staying active outdoors. Cara shares her home with a lovable, one-eyed dog named Teddy, who brings her endless joy.
Morgan
Certified Veterinary Technician
Morgan began his veterinary medicine career 15 years ago as a certified veterinary technician. Born in Pensacola, Florida, he moved frequently during his early years due to his father’s Navy career, eventually settling back in Florida at the age of 12.
He is passionate about radiology and takes great pride in educating pet owners, helping them understand how to maintain the health and well-being of their pets. Currently, Morgan is working towards becoming a certified nutrition counselor to enhance his veterinary expertise and promote the health and happiness of our patients.
Outside the clinic, Morgan enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their four dogs, one cat, and a tortoise. He loves exploring the great outdoors and often finds himself at the springs, where he engages in a variety of activities such as fishing, kayaking, and scuba diving. Whether it’s relaxing by the water, discovering new trails, or enjoying nature, Morgan cherishes every moment spent in the fresh air and sunshine. His passion for adventure and the outdoors complements his dedication to veterinary care, making him an asset to both his patients and their owners.
Kendall
Veterinary Technician Assistant
Kendall began her veterinary career a little over 2 years ago at Robertson Vet Clinic by volunteering, which sparked her passion for working with animals, which turned into an official part-time position. Kendall is currently enrolled in St. Petersburg College and has completed her third semester, pursuing her certificate as a certified veterinary technician. Her passion for animals inspires her to make a positive impact on their lives while educating pet owners on proper care. Kendall finds fulfillment in every aspect of patient care while deepening her understanding of animal health.
Outside of work and school, Kendall loves spending time with family and friends, enjoying outdoor activities, and traveling. She shares her home with eight Treeing Walker Coonhounds and a red-nose Pit Bull named Pollo. In the future, Kendall hopes to live on a farm with more animals while further advancing her veterinary career to ensure the best care for pets and their owners.
