Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. We are not an emergency facility, but if an emergency case does arrive it shall always receive top priority, which may occasionally cause an appointment delay. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. Because we operate primarily by appointment, if you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your scheduled appointment it will need to be rescheduled in order to prevent other scheduled appointments from being delayed.

For your convenience, “drop-off” appointments are available. A drop off means you can bring your pet and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours to get their veterinary services completed. We will ask you to drop off at a scheduled window of time in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once your pet is done, we will give you a call to go over all items completed as well as go over discharge instructions.

For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date, especially rabies vaccination. We do not accept rabies titers as proof of protection. Failure to comply with clinic and local laws regarding rabies vaccination will forfeit your right to be seen by the veterinarian and staff.

Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings, and other pets. We ask that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the building.

Patient Arrival Policy:

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.

Cancellation/No Show Policy:

Since we operate on an appointment only policy and try to make sure we can accommodate clients and their pets, we have a strict cancellation policy. We ask that all cancellations be completed 24 hours prior to your appointment, otherwise a cancellation fee will be incurred. The same applies for no show appointments (not showing up for your scheduled appointment time). A no show fee equal to the cost of the examination time that was blocked off for your appointment is incurred for all missed appointments. Any canceled and/or no show appointment fees must be paid prior to rescheduling any appointments or rechecks.
